Dr. Wilson holds a bachelors degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a medical degree from the University of the State of Guerrero, Mexico. For 25 years he has taken a keen interest in nutrition and health. He worked as a medical researcher for the U.S. Public Health Service, and for the past 20 years he has worked as a private nutrition consultant, lecturer and author in Phoenix and Prescott, Arizona. His nutrition work specializes in minerals and mineral analysis and it's use in clinical nutrition practice. He has offered various courses and other consultation with authorities in the field of nutrition and holistic medicine including Dr. Jeffrey Bland, Dr. Bernard Jensen, Micio Kushi to name a few. He has performed extensive library research in nutrition at Harvard Medical School Library, the New York Academy of Medicine Library, and the National Library of Medicine.

Dr. Wilson also was awarded a grant by the Departments of Nutrition and Urban Studies, Massachusetts Institute of Technology for the study of the relationship between urban diets and cancer incidence.

Kristen holds a bachelor of science degree in Natural Health from Clayton College of Natural Health and has received full board certification as a Holistic Health Practitioner from the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.

Kristen is a Registered Healer with the International Association of Natural Healers (INHA), has studied Nutritional Balance & Hair Analysis under Lawrence Wilson, M.D., whom is a faculty member of Holistic Healers Academy. She is studying aromatherapy with the Pacific Institute of Aromatherapy and has recently become a Certified Nutritional Consultant through the American Association of Nutritional Consultants (AANC). Kristen previously resided at Kutztown University for three years as a full time student majoring in Early Childhood Education. When she fell ill she embarked on a holistic journey to find answers which left conventional medical doctors baffled (severe metal toxicity affecting EVERY system of the body; very high mercury,  high copper, elevated levels of lead and elevated aluminum). Learning how to eliminate these heavy metals from bodily tissues was an uphill battle since there is much conflicting opinion out there as to the safest way of doing so.

While meeting with over a dozen medical and naturopathic doctors (working for several typing metal toxicity power point lectures which are then taught to doctors via dental and alternative medical schools) she decided it was time to create Holistic Healers Academy! What she wanted most was to help others learn how to naturally heal themselves. Many of the doctors on this site have helped her overcome the majority of her symptoms...one of the main problems ended up being chemical sensitivity. It used to be severe enough to limit driving and even the ability to enter stores due to the myriad of symptoms related to the central nervous system (brain, coordination, breathing).
